We’re Back! New Channel

It’s been a while since we’ve posted, but we took a break to focus on the research and preparation that went into our new channels, including this one. Although these videos were created in different eras, it took time to see how all these events and movements are interconnected.

For example, the 1968 walkouts inspired the 1972 Chicano Moratorium, which in turn helped spark La Raza Magazine. Many people, especially Chicano Americans, aren’t fully aware of their history. For a society to grow and succeed, education needs to be a priority.

As you start watching these videos, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how Mexican Americans are not only a vital part of this country but can also help unite it, thanks to our deep roots in the Southwest. Our blend of cultures—Indigenous, Black, and Spanish—demonstrates why we have one of the richest and longest histories, second only to China. Please explore our catalog; we’ll continue adding more content.

Looking ahead, we’ll be launching a new lineup of original content produced by NELA TV.

And remember, it’s free to watch!
