Union City Lowrider Happening 1981
Scenes and interviews from the 2nd annual Union City Lowrider happening, held in August 1981. Barrio Expressions was a community access television show documenting Chicano and Chicana life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year.
