How Deep House music in the 90s helped us escape reality
How music in the 90s helped us have fun and escape reality from all the madness that was happening on the streets of Los Angeles. This was a time where Rodney King had just gotten badly beaten and riots broke out.
The 90s were a special time for Mexican Americans. We were coming into our own and asserting our identity. And the music of the 90s reflected that. It was a decade of great parties and good times. So let’s take a walk down memory lane and explore how certain songs from the 90s help us have fun.
Nostalgia is a funny thing. It has a way of making us feel good about ourselves and our past experiences. And that’s exactly what happened when we listen to music from the 90s. We are transported back to a time when we were carefree and fun-loving. We remember all the good times we had dancing to these songs at parties or just hanging out with friends.
Some of my favorite CD’s are the original Deep House Party Mixes. They have all the songs that bring back memories of good times in the back seat on the way to the club. These songs are all about having fun and enjoying life. They helped us escape all the crime and drama that was happening out in the real world. They make us want to get up and dance. They make us feel happy and nostalgic at the same time.
