I Started The Mongols Motorcycle Club
Big Al Aceves had returned home after serving honorably in the Airborne Infantry, where he walked point in Viet Nam. According to Big Al, “I was nuts, and the worst part is I didn’t know I was nuts.” When I would find the enemy, I would cut their ears off and put them into my pocket.” After receiving numerous medals for his service, Al was discharged, and sent home. With no idea of how to live, Al tried his hand at school, and various criminal activities. By 1969, Big Al was in trouble with the law, just as he often was. It was then, he and some friends started the legendary Mongols Motorcycle Club. Even in this violent world, Al stook out for his brutality. According to him, “I once whipped a guy with a chain, took half his face off, and I have no idea how many people I’ve stabbed… If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ, I wouldn’t have nothin’. I was just a thug, an idiot.” Hear Big Al’s story, and watch our other videos, some about Mongols who turned their lives around, and others concerning gangsters from other gangs. All have one thing in common–they were going in once direction until God changed their lives.
